Dioji offers training classes for dogs of all ages through our partner at our Santa Barbara location.

The 6-week Puppy School course begins by establishing a base for success. You will learn to see the world through your dog's eyes, discover what motivates your dog's behavior and gain the tools to establish yourself as a benevolent pack leader. With this framework in place, the trainers will teach you how to use this knowledge to bring out your dog's positive behaviors and eliminate the negative ones. Hands-on training will cover the following:

• Obedience commands and manners – such as sit, stay, off, come, drop, etc.
• Eliminating negative behaviors – such as mouthing, jumping, indoor marking, etc.
• Walking gently on a leash
• Off-leash recall
• House breaking / crate training
• Proper socialization - why it is imperative
• Basic care and handling
• Fulfilling basic needs
• Advanced topics, time permitting

Courses are taught by a certified trainer through Animal Behavior College and a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers.

By the end of the course, your family will have the knowledge and confidence to properly raise a fantastic pup!
