Another year has passed and I can't wait to see what 2012 has in store for us! 2011 was an exciting time for growth and fun retail shop changes.

Dioji members now have the opportunity to play at 2 locations! In August 2011 we opened our Santa Barbara location at 822 E. Yanonali St. and have enjoyed serving new and previous member dogs since.

In the Fall we expanded the dog food lines that we carry and now proudly offer: California Natural, Blue Buffalo, Taste of the Wild, EVO, Orijen, Acana, Nutrisca, Natural Balance, Wellness, Canidae, Holistic Select and Honest Kitchen! Priced competitively and with our new Dioji Rewards Card, Dioji is the place to shop!

We were excited to introduce the Dioji Rewards Card just recently and it has been a big hit among our customers. For every $20 Retail purchase you stamp your way to a free $10 credit to be used in store.

Mid year we extended our Saturday hours to 9am-5pm on Saturdays (at both Santa Barbara and Goleta locations). Daycare dogs have longer to romp and play and overnight boarders have more flexibility for drop off and pick up times.

In July we remodelled Goleta's overnight boarding area to be more spacious and even more 'homey'. Our changes may have helped us win your votes that chose us as Santa Barbara's Best in Boarding in the Independent and News Press papers! Thank you.

Wow, what a year. May the BEST of 2011, be the worst of 2012.

Reminder!

Please remember to walk your dogs on leash when coming up the walkway and entering the building. This is for their safety ‚Äì some people come to our retail store with their dogs that may not be accustomed to playing off leash. Thank you!

It's a new year and a time when many people choose to eat better, exercise more and live a healthier lifestyle. This is a great resolution for our four legged pals as well to ensure a long healthy life. Dioji carries a variety of low calorie kibbles and treats that can help your dog on the right foot to shedding any needed pounds. Stop in to either store and we'd be happy to help in your selection. It may be tough for us humans to work up the motivation to make our way to the gym, but luckily most dogs jump at the chance for a play session at the park or Dioji. A bit of running and play goes a long way to a long healthy life.

A six week course begins for puppies needing to learn basic commands including help with potty training and swim lessons in our giant pool. Includes a day of puppy daycare!

A six week course begins for dogs who have either completed our Puppy I class and would like to continue learning or for puppies 4-7 months new to training.

Want to celebrate Valentine's Day in a pawsitive way? Join us for a fun-filled event to raise funds and awareness for Santa Barbara County animals in need. I had a very serious knee surgery when I was in fifth grade.

Favorite activity with the dogs
Just getting to know the dogs and seeing how different their personalities are. I love just having one on one time with them!

Favorite Dioji moment
I transported Willie & Pearl home one afternoon, walked them to the door, and when I returned to the van there were dog toys along the step of the driver door! Their owner said it was Pearl.. I thought it was cute, it was like she was saying thank you!

My name is Oliver I am a 2 year old black lab with some of the longest legs the Dioji staff has ever seen! This makes it possible for me to fulfill my dream of 8 straight hours of running and swimming (with no naps!) The Dioji staff finds this pretty impressive.

As I said before my favorite things to do are run and swim. I love playing chase with all my friends, and then taking a dip in the pool to cool off. Of course receiving a good butt scratch from the staff is a must have in my day, as well.

My best friends are Maddie and Grace two beautiful female Golden Retrievers, but I will play with anyone who will play with me back. We cannot forget to mention my favorite staff member, Sean. I love to follow him around and help him do his job.
